We are just over a week before Christmas and we cannot talk about the Nativity and the birth of Jesus without talking about the Church of the Annunciation. This video provides you a wonderful virtual tour of the whole complex of Church of the Annunciation including St. Joseph’s Church – also called the “Holy Family Church”. Both churches are built on remnants of a Byzantine Church, later to be a Crusaders Church that was destroyed by the Muslims. The new church that was built in the 20th century and the famous one of them, the Church of the Annunciation was opened to the public in 1969.
