News from the Past

As I have already mentioned a few times in some of my posts, we have millions of years to excavate until we can find all or most of our roots that are still buried in the ground. And we’re only at the beginning. Almost every day, we get a scoop of news from the past. This video will discuss two different sites, two different famous kings.

We don’t need proof that the Bible is true, even though archaeological findings that bring the Bible to life are very exciting.

The 1st site discussed is Khirbet Qeiyafa - a city from the time of King David. In Hebrew: 'Sha-a-ra-im', which means a city with two gates, which is mentioned in the Bible (Samuel 1 ch:17 verse:52). One of the most exciting findings was the oldest Hebrew inscription to have ever been found.

The 2nd site is the walls of Jerusalem at the time of King Solomon, known as the “Haofel” located between Temple Mt. and the City of David. According to Dr. Ayelet Mazor, this is the wall that surrounded Jerusalem and was part of his palace.

I’d like to thank CBN News for this video.
