Exploring Archaeological Biblical Findings in Israel
Once again, I find myself repeating what I have told you multiple times: any place you dig in Israel, sooner or later, you’ll stumble on archaeological findings. Despite digging for many decades, there is still a whole lot more to excavate and uncover. The Israeli Museum houses many of these rare archaeological findings. We are constantly reminded that this is the Bible (holy) Land and the stones cry out the Bible stories.
Israel boasts an all-time-record of having the highest number of museums per capita, and the biggest one is the Israeli Museum in Jerusalem – one of the 10 biggest museums in the world. As a tour guide, I make a point of taking the tour groups I guide to this museum and the highlights are the model of Jerusalem at the time of Herod and Jesus and of course the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibited in the Shrine of the Book. These scrolls are the most ancient copies of the Bible.
I’d like to thank the Watchman for this informative video. Enjoy.
I’d like to wish you all a Happy New Year.
